Entire cycleway reopened

Construction of the Queensland Government’s $226m Boggo Road Busway is on schedule for completion in mid 2009. A project milestone has been achieved with the reopening of the entire cycleway from Annerley Road across the Eleanor Schonell Bridge to the University of Queensland. The completed cycleway will be open from Thursday 23 October 2008.

Currently there is a shared pathway from Gladstone Road to the Eleanor Schonell Bridge for cyclists and pedestrians. The reopening of the cycleway will ensure both groups have separate paths on either side of the busway.
