The TransLink Transit Authority (TTA) senior management capability framework (PDF, 786KB) will help us:

  • share an understanding of the core management and leadership behaviours we expect our senior managers to demonstrate in the workplace, ensuring alignment with our strategic business needs
  • develop a depth of skill and capability across our senior managers for succession planning and skill retention purposes
  • address capability gaps by providing more targeted development for managers through our in-house management development program, the TransLink Management Forum (TMF)
  • improve recruitment and selection for senior manager roles through consistent assessment criteria and language
  • act as a guide in achievement planning discussions between group managers and their line managers about the individual's development
  • provide better information to employees to manage their careers, aiming to set out what capabilities are needed to progress and competently perform in senior roles and therefore retaining people for longer.
